Alicia, an environmentalist by training, believes her transition into human rights advocacy reflects her belief that environmental justice is inseparable from social justice: “At the Caribbean Centre for Human Rights, I see an opportunity to champion rights-based approaches that protect both people and the environment. I’m committed to honour the lived realities of Caribbean communities and uphold their right to thrive in harmony with nature.”
