have been able to engage in strategic litigation—giving voice to the unheard,
challenging unjust laws, and pursuing constitutional reform. Their backing has
allowed us to move beyond research into action: reviewing and proposing
amendments to outdated laws, including colonial-era “savings clauses,” to ensure
that all individuals are treated with dignity, equality, and respect under the law.
